Description Islington Piano Teachers provides affordable, bespoke piano lessons to children and adults in their homes. We are looking for talented and experienced tutors to join our team of peripatetic piano teachers. We appreciate that each student’s approach to lessons is shaped by their aspirations to become a concert pianist, pursue music in higher education or simply learn their favourite contemporary songs for fun. Tutors have the freedom to work closely with each student and tailor their tuition according to their personal teaching style and the student’s goals. We provide 30-, 45-, 60- and 90-minute lessons throughout Islington and neighbouring areas (N1, N4, N5, N7, N16, EC1). Our base tutor pay rate is £25.00 per hour, adjusted proportionally for shorter or longer lessons. Students are distributed as required but we make every effort to provide tutors with as many students as they would like at times suitable to them. Although lessons must be conducted with consistency every week, you are welcome to accept students that are appropriate to how you wish to construct your schedule.  We are especially interested in hearing from enthusiastic, fun, energetic and reliable piano tutors. Please note: we require our tutors to provide peripatetic tuition consistently each week.
